Caulostrepsis is the ichnogenus that designates the perforations carried out by presumably spionid polychaetes. Among other substrates, its presence is common in both current and fossil mollusk shells. In the present work, this type of traces is studied in specimens collected in Quaternary marine sediments from Colombia. This discovery represents the first record of any type of bioerosion in Colombian fossils.eng
