BIOQUÍMICA SANGUÍNEA E INFERENCIAS ECOFISIOLÓGICAS EN TYPHLONECTES NATANS (AMPHIBIA: GYMNOPHIONA) DE LA REGIÓN CARIBE COLOMBIANA

Abstract

Se hacen los primeros reportes de la bioquímica sanguínea de T. natans para Colombia, relacio-nados con estrés fisiológico por contaminantes. Fue determinado el hematocrito por método con-vencional en el Grupo Patrón (GP): 41,94 ± 5,06%; y Grupo Experimental (GE): 43.37 ± 6,14% ypor espectrofotometría la hemoglobina (GP: 12,52 ± 3,06 g/dL; GE: 14,43 ± 3,85 g/dL), proteínastotales (GP:6,32 ± 0,60 g/dL; GE: 6,05 ± 0,64 g/dL), colesterol tota (GP:280 ± 50 mg/dL; GE: 281± 44 mg/dL) y glucosa (GP: 140,25 ± 27,96 mg/dL; GE: 120,6 ± 23,44 mg/dL, ± SD). Los datossugieren estrés por contaminantes en sinergia con otros factores como cambios térmicos.
